About Steve has a background in competitive yachting. Learning to sail at an early age in the waters of the Pentland Firth and progressing to World Championship competition level, he has translated his racing knowledge to produce images that are acclaimed worldwide. Covering events from the Olympics to Club racing, from Volvo Ocean race to Cowes Week and Big Boat events in the Caribbean to the Scottish Series his images have featured in yachting magazines and media worldwide. Aside from event photography he has been commissioned to work on such diverse projects as marine engines and yachting fashion. Over the past few years Steve has expanded his folio to include equestrian events, landscapes, wildlife as well as his obsession with his dog, Stanley!
